Mark Falloon, DVM
Dr. Mark Falloon is a Lincoln native and has been a part of this community most of his life. His passion for the outdoors and wildlife found him caring for numerous exotic animals, aquariums and bird dogs throughout much of his childhood.
Dr. Falloon graduated from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and has been a practicing veterinarian in Lincoln since. He focused on companion animal and exotic medicine and surgery, including serving as the consulting veterinarian for the Lincoln Children’s Zoo for 17 years. During that time, he was also involved with numerous wildlife rescue groups, caring for native reptiles, small mammals, waterfowl, birds and raptors. It has been his privilege to work on numerous species, native and domestic, large and small. He remains grateful for the honor of working with so many amazing and beautiful animals, and thankfully acknowledges the many volunteers, staff members and colleagues that helped make it all possible.
Dr. Falloon’s current emphasis is companion animals, based on his years of practical clinical experience. He is quite aware that a veterinarian is not just treating an animal, but rather, a beloved family member. The number of friendships he has developed through the years with clients and their loved ones are many, and truly what makes the effort so rewarding.
In his spare time, Dr. Falloon has been an avid cyclist for years and enjoys fly fishing, archery, quiet time in the woods, and not so quiet time with his grandchildren. He remains an advocate for wilderness and all things wild.
